Ask Dennis Anything PC
This class is intended for anyone who uses a Windows device or is interested in learning more about PCs. Do you have questions that didn’t get asked or answered in a class? Here’s your chance!
This class will meet once weekly for 3 weeks and taught using the classroom desktop PCs with Windows 10 Home 1803 installed. You may alternatively bring your own laptop and connect to the classroom wireless network. Please bring a personal flash drive with at least 0.5GB of free space to copy the class materials for home use.
This class is first and foremost an open forum for PC software and hardware related questions and problems not fully addressed in our existing courses. If we don't have a ready answer, we'll show you some of the best places we rely upon to get the answers we need.
We can also discuss late breaking developments in computing, upcoming software and hardware. This is also an opportunity to suggest new classes and new special interest groups. Some questions previously posed here have inspired the development of entirely new classes.
If you have questions or suggestions about your computer club, this is an opportunity to address your interests – or to consider volunteering to take an active role in our teaching efforts.
The discussion leader is Dennis Korger, who has been a club member since 2005 and an instructor for 12 years, teaching Windows and multiple other PC related classes. Dennis also does most of the maintenance and repairs for the classroom PCs and other classroom equipment. He has been on the club board of directors since 2006, serving as president since November of 2014 to the present.
