History of the SaddleBrooke Computer Club
The SaddleBrooke Computer Club was established in 1997 by Kermit Brindle, Carl Rasmusson, and Elmer Werhand. The club initially convened at the Activity Center in HOA1.
Initially, the club catered exclusively to Windows users. However, it was later discovered that there was a separate Apple users club in SaddleBrooke. Through the efforts of Carlton Weins and Norm Kyle, these two clubs were united.
The current classroom where the club meets was generously offered by Robson at the commencement of HOA2 construction.
Annual fees were established to procure computers and software, as well as to enable members to enroll in an unlimited number of classes throughout the year. Since its inception, the club has experienced steady growth and success.
