WORD FOR MACINTOSH MAIL MERGE
COURSE ENROLLMENT - – Only 4 club computers have the Office software. Students are encouraged to bring their own laptops. Enrollment for this class is limited to 12 students
COURSE LOCATION - Silicon room at the HOA2 Arts and Crafts Center
PREREQUISITES - Completion of Word for Macintosh Basic or experienced using MS Word and comfortable navigating and using Apple system. Being able to use MS WORD and the Macintosh system are important. NOT FOR PC OR WINDOWS USERS.
COURSE DESCRIPTION - Two 75 minute sessions.
This is a course designed to teach the student how to use the Mailings section of the Microsoft WORD 2016 or Office 365 program. The course will include creating envelopes, labels, and merging data with documents, labels, envelopes, and email messages. Students will merge data by creating a Word data list and from text files. Students will generate example holiday letters, labels, and envelopes.
This course is meant for experienced Word users.
COURSE MATERIALS- Bring a personal Flash drive for transporting files between the classroom and home.
