1:00 Google Chrome

Course Name: Google Chrome

COURSE PREREQUISITES: Completion of introductory Windows classes.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Two 75 minute sessions.

Your web browser is arguably the most important piece of software on your computer. You spend much of your time online inside a browser: When you search, chat, email, shop, bank, read the news, and watch videos online, you do it all using your browser.

Google Chrome is an internet browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier. Chrome is designed to be fast in every possible way: It's quick to start up from your desktop, loads web pages in a snap, and runs complex web applications fast. Launched in September of 2008, Chrome is now the world's most popular browser.

Learn how to set up and use this established favorite of experienced internet surfers. Chrome is available as a free download; hundreds of extensions and add-on features are also free.
