MS WORD MAIL MERGE
COURSE ENROLLMENT - Enrollment for this class is limited to 16 students
COURSE LOCATION - Silicon room at the HOA2 Arts and Crafts Center
PREREQUISITES - Completion of MS Word- Basic and a WINDOWS class or experienced using MS Word and comfortable navigating and using Windows directories. Being able to use MS WORD and the Windows system is important. NOT for Macintosh users.
COURSE DESCRIPTION - Two 75 minute sessions.
This is a course designed to teach the student how to use the Mailings section of the Microsoft WORD 2016 program. The features, techniques and menus are similar to MS Word 2007 or 2010 (PC), but not applicable to previous versions of WORD or MACINTOSH versions. The course will include creating envelopes, labels, and merging data with documents, labels, envelopes, and email messages. Students will merge data by creating a Word data list and from text files. Students will generate example holiday letters, labels, and envelopes.
This course is meant for experienced Word users.
COURSE MATERIALS- Have a personal Flash drive for transporting files between the classroom and home.
